Baring PAIN

my fluidity's demise

Somewhere in the wilderness I lost my fluidity. gritty.wild beasts trampled it like thistle.buried it beneath.hard soil.impacted.with my grief. I walk in circles in these shadowed lands.searching with brittle hands.parched for prose.for poetry.for words that flow. from my fingertips with ease.only to find the charcoal covered pages of my mind diseased.I dig with bloody knuckles.holes.in my sun scorched brain. No rushing rivers to nourish the dry bones rattling in my body’s despairing plains. only tearless weeping.like sunlit clouds.seeping.remorse for my failing.the flailing.for not tenderly carrying.my fluidity.once a gift for me.i lost.somewhere in the wilderness’ lies.covered in sackcloth, my fluidity’s demise.
