Baring PAIN

Under Bridges and Rainbows

Under Bridges and Rainbows, i lie down in this soil where I'm planted, like a tree, looking up.  i see.  Years.  Of Promises.  Raining down rivers of tears on me.  Splattering Pain.  Shattering.  Breaking me down.  Decomposing in this soil under bridges, by rivers, under rainbows, on an altar, in a font, looking out from this window of an ark that lifts me up.  Over bluffs.  And i am blown away.  With Grief.  Carried on wings of the dawn to the far side of the sea.  To be drowned in the deep blue depths. of me.  In an ocean roaring a sleeping volcano awake.  Explodes.  Dust and Ash in the Air, like vog.  And I'm mixed in the Air and the Land that rests under me.  Under these Bridges and Rainbows that perch, high on this hill, like Bluebirds in the branch of a lone tree.  That hangs.  On Nothing.  Like me.
